What could be more fun than getting together with my lace friends and creating lovely lace?
My lace buddy Francesca gathered a few of us together today to enjoy each others company.
She had the day off of work and we met to make lace, eat and talk. Joining Francesca and myself were Lisa, Georgette, and Julia. Not everyone was working on their lace pillow.
Lisa was busy knitting socks and trying them on for size.
Francesca gave Georgette her first lesson on being a lacemaker.
Julia and I did work on our lace. Julia was working on her lovely Milanese Heart and I was working on finishing two pieces, a Bedfordshire motive (for an IOLI convention 2009 favor) and a flower (for Winter Lace Conference 2009)
I have been feeling rather blue lately so that is the reason for my non-existent blog entries for the past few weeks. My best medicine for that is visiting the grandchildren but that will have to wait for a little bit, probably closer to Christmas. I hope everyone had a great Veterans Day!
