Demonstrating at Founder's Day

I spent a beautiful spring day demonstrating lace making to the public. Our venue was Whittier Founder's Day. There were booths of all kinds throughout the "Friends Park" including our own Hedgehog Lacers.


There were many people dressed up in period costume.

And the resident blacksmith : )


We had stage acts including the group "Sunshine Generation." Boy that brought back memories!


My daughters were in the same group when they were young and I remember taking them to events like these : ) It was perfect weather and a lot of lacing was done this day!
