I am still keeping up with the reading challenge but have been involved with a conference (lacemaking conference, one of my passions : ) and did not get a chance to enter any books read.
I finished "The Postmistress" by Sarah Blake last week. It was an interesting story about characters caught in the anxiety leading up to World War II. It takes place from 1940 to 1941 just before we entered the war.
The second book is "The Girl who was on Fire" a compilation of pieces by young adult authors on the phenomenon of the "Hunger Games" series. It was an easy read to keep up on during my lacemaking conference and was fun to hear the different comments by authors.
