Chris and I spent all day Tuesday at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Mike, Caroline and Mariwere making a visit to So Cal and the park was one of their destinations.
It has been nearly 20 years since we had visited (the last time being when our kids were young) so I was excited to see it through our granddaughters eyes!
It was fun taking the tour around the complex and Mari especially enjoyed seeing the zebras.
She also liked the elephants. A special picture moment came when she was able to feed a beautiful bird within the aviary.
As with any 4 year old though she enjoyed the simple pleasures the most. (like playing in the water park, riding the carousel, and the petting zoo)
We had ice cream at MacDonalds afterwards and gave our sweetheart a hug before saying goodbye. So much fun!
