Baby Luke, mom Julie, and dad Rafa, came to visit us for the week! What a fun time we had!
The visit came after Julie's birthday (July 6) and before Luke's 1st birthday (July 22) so we celebrated. Julie loves Trader Joe's and wanted food there for her birthday : ) There are no Trader Joe's in Utah and she wanted to stock up on her favorite items. Looks like Rafa and Luke are enjoying themselves at TJ's!
We went over to Great- Grandpa Kingsley's house to visit. We got some wonderful pictures of Great-Grandpa and Luke : )
After that we met my sister Allison and her husband Kenny at the Yard House restaurant. Food and company were great.
The next day we headed to the Fashion Island Mall and then to Huntingdon Beach. We ate dinner at Duke's on the pier (great fish!) then took Lukie to see the ocean for the first time. He wasn't quite sure if he liked it but we did. It was a beautiful day!
Thursday's trip was to the Los Angeles Farmers Market. We ate lunch at our favorite crepe place and scouted out the best places to go to shop.
By Thursday the weather had turned too hot and it was not as much fun to shop. We went home and rested, then in the evening went an Angel's game! Lots of fun and the Angel's won (against the Seattle Mariner's) so that was a plus.
Luke took all the noise and excitement in stride by sleeping half the game away : )
We also celebrated Luke's 1st Birthday a week early while he was here. Looks like he is enjoying the process and I think the toys met with his approval : )
All too soon it was time for them to return to Utah.
